I would love to know exactly where Cooper Cemetery in Gordon County is located. We couldn't locate it nor anyone who knew anything about it the last time we were through the area. It is supposedly on Cooper Road in Sonoraville. I have since found that Sonoraville Baptist Church is noted with a Calhoun address. Could the cemetery be in Calhoun instead of Sonoraville? I know nothing about Gordon County or the surrounding area, so I would appreciate directions from anyone who might know the location of this cemetery. It is my impression that it only has about nine tombstones with the surnames of Evans and Jones (no Coopers - ?), so I assume it is an old family plot not associated with a church nor other facility - probably little-known by most in the area.
