There aren't any DuBose names in the Cairo City Cemetery unless in unmarked graves (at least there are none in the Hayes and Varick Surveys).

There are two DuBose names in the Varick addenda in Grady County.

They are in the Long Branch Cemetery.

They are Bennie L. DuBose b. 1-26-1898, d. 11-14-1968
Ida Mae DuBose b. 2-5-1890, d. 1-9-1936.

I'd like to suggest that you try Thomas County Cemeteries as the NE part of Grady County, including most of Cairo, was in Thomas County prior to about 1905.

There is a book of Thomas County Cemeteries at Georgia Archives. It is a huge book. If you live near Atlanta, it would be easy to look up. If not, I'll be happy to look it up there for you next time I go. It will be at least a month before I can take the time even though I live only a few miles from it.

Maybe you can find a copy wherever you are. If not, send me and e-mail in about a month and remind me.

Chris
