Chris: Thanks so much for the reply. I live in central Texas and I am sure you know how hard it is to do genealogy when you are not in the vicinity. I am looking for the death of Peter Perdept DuBose who died in Thomas County GA ca 1848. I was able to get the abstracts of lands in Grady Co Cairo twnsp, owned by Peter and brother Ruben through the "goodness" of a dear lady in Thomasville. The library there has been a great help. I am looking for the death of Peter P. DuBose ca 1847-48 and possibly a will or probate. Wife of Peter was Priscilla Davis. She later married Ruben his brother who was a widow and with all their children combined (13) they migrated to Jasper/Newton counties in east Texas. They came with a group out of Thomas County along with some of the Singletary's and Blewetts. Any help would be so appreciated.
