Edward,

Blanch Moore who married Henry Mobly on 12/22/1907 is my father's mothers sister. I am in the process of researching that part of the family. Blanch was daughter of William David Moore was born 5/10/1861, died 12/17/1894 Decauter, now Grady Co. GA and Amanda Parker Moore b. 3/11/1861, d. 1/17/1909, Grady Co. GA. Both are buried in New Hope Cemetery - I visited the cemetery to confirm the informaiton I had. It was hard to find as it was way out in the country.

David and Amanda had eight daughters and no sons. David died when my grandmother Belle Moore was 4 years old. I don't know the birth order yet but the daughters are:

Belle Moore (m Jesse McDowell Sellers Sr, 11/3/1912 A 280)
Perl Moore (m. L.E. Keeffe, 5/16/1915, no kids, A 344)
Greenie Moore
Ruth Moore
Jannie(?) Moore
Blanch Moore (m. Henry Mobly, 12/22/1907 A 69)
Willie Moore ( married a Rhodes)
Mary G. Moore

According to my father only three of the eight daughters survived to an old age and had children: Belle, Blanch, and Willie. Amanda, their mother, was apparently a schrewd business woman. When she died, she gave each of the daughters a farm.

As I said earlier, I am working on proving out this branch of my family line. If you have any information other than this, please let me know. I am in the process of reaching back on David's side at the moment and would appreciate any information you may have.

Thanks,

Charles "Chuck" Sellers
