Marriage records. Have book - will do look ups!

I noticed that the Grady County web site started putting the Marriage records written by James Allen Rollins on line a very long time ago and stopped about a third way through. I got impatient waiting for them to finish and obtained my own copy . I'll be happy to look up records for you. The records include marriages performed in Grady County between 1906 and 1921.

Prior to 1906, most of Grady County was in Decatur County. Decatur County has marriage records on line. The city of Cairo, Pine Park and parts of the county to the north were in Thomas County until 1906. I have a copy of Craigmiles Thomas County Marriage Book also. I'll be happy to look up those marriages also but if your ancesotr is a female, don't expect quick results because the Thomas County book lists females only by last names so that one has to search every page a female with a specific last name is located. Then a large percentage turn out not to be on the page the index says but on the page before and after. So, be patient. I have to work the searches in between other commitments.
