James Richard Butler was born May 9, 1862 in Calvary, Grady Co. GA. He married Mary Marie McCray, daughter of James McCray and Mary Copeland. Children of James Richard Butler and Mary Marie McCray are :
Mary "Mae" Butler married Charlie Price
Bessie Butler married Ray Stewart
Rebecca Butler born Sept. 25, 1919, died May 8, 1981
John Robert Butler born March 29, 1921, died July 30, 1973
Elizabeth Margaret Butler born June 25, 1918 married Amos Franklin NeSmith. All of James Richard Butler's children were born in Grady Co. GA. to the best of my knowledge.
John Robert Butler is my grandfather. I would love to hear from anyone who may be connected to or have info on this Butler line.
