1880 U.S. Census, Georgia, Thomas Co., Ochlockonee (Ochlocknee) shows Ed D. Hurst household with:
Ed D. Hurst, age 26 (born about 1854),
wife, Martha, age 26, keeping house, and
son, Andrew J. (born about 1879).
My guess is that Martha is Martha Sasser, also known as Mat or Mattie.
I also guess that Andrew J. was Andrew Jackson Hurst (Jack) who was later joined by siblings, Gus, Viola, Edward Roy, and Jess E. Hurst.
Anyone have information supporting or contradicting these guesses?
