My husband's ancester, Henry A. Pattillo, was married by V. A. Bell in 1866 in Greene Co., Georgia.

I would like to know which church affiliation Reverend Bell was associated with.

Henry's grandfather, Samuel Pattillo, was a Methodist minister and his 2nd great uncle, Henry Pattillo, was a Presbyterian minister. It is possible that he would have married in either of these churches.

Any help would be appreciated.
