Elisha P. Jarrell was born May 4, 1803, probably Greene Co., GA, died January 8, 1877, buried White Plains Cemetery, Greene Co, son of Redden Jarrell and Martha Peek. He was married twice:
1. Elisha P. Jarrell to Catherine S. Lightfoot, January 23, 1829, Taliaferro Co., GA (Taliaferro Co. Marriage Book A, page 29). She was born about 1812, died October 30, 1847, and is buried in the White Plains Cemetery.

2. Elisha P. Jarrell to Mary S. Simmons, September 9, 1849 (by J. W. Simmons, J.I.C.), Hancock Co., GA. (Hancock Co. Marriage Records, History of Hancock County, Georgia Vol. I) Mary (Simmons) Jarrell was born April 17, 1811, died March 3, 1906, Greene Co., and buried in White Plains Cemetery.
Apparently Elisha had no children by either wife.
