Atkinson and Williams, early 1800s

Looking for anyone researching any Atkinson families in Greene County, GA living there in the early to mid- 1800s.
I can trace my line back to Elizabeth Atkinson, my great-great-grandmother. At least, I think she was the Elizabeth Atkinson who married my great-great-grandfather William Williams. This is the information I have seen posted on FamilySearch.com and a couple of other websites. I cannot be sure that this is correct. But would like to hear from anyone who knows of the Atkinsons in Greene County. A William Williams married an Elizabeth Atkinson around 1827 or 1829 in Greene County. I need to know if they are the same couple who settled in Stewart County, GA, in the Lumpkin and Richland areas, and were there on the 1850 - 1880 Censuses. They had at least 14 children including my great-grandmother Patience Williams and possibly the first husband, James H. Williams, of my great-grandmother Nancy Ann Jenkins.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me with this family.
Beverly
