There is an entry about Thomas Grier on page 296 of "The History of Greene County Georgia 1786-1886, by Thaddeus Brockett Rice. The entry begins "Thomas Grier (Greer)..... Thomas Grier son of Robert Grier served as a soldier in the Revolution......." If anyone has access to this book I would appreciate a transcript of the full text regarding Thomas Grier. In addition if there is any reference to his father Robert Grier, born about 1733 or 1734, died 1801, I would appreciate that transcript as well.
