Seeking information on the family of Daniel Samuel Langley. He was my great great grandfather. He was born in Georgia and died in Dallas Texas. I have a copy of his death certificate where he died in Dallas, Texas in 1923. His son, John Langley's death certificate indicates his mother's maiden name was Lena Head. The informant was N.C. Langley (his son). I have read posts on other boards regarding Daniel's wife and they indicate her name was Lena Whitworth or Whitlock so this seems to be a contradiction. Daniel lived in Dallas for 31 years per his death certificate. He is buried in Oakland Cemetary in Dallas, Texas.
Does anyone have an idea about Lena Head or Daniel's parents.
If anyone has additional information or records to share, please let me know.
