Looking for information on Phillips family in Gwinnett Co., Georgia. I have a possible match with my great father from the 1900 census but am looking for relatives to confirm.
William Arthur Phillips born 1872 in Jackson County, Georgia. In 1900 census he is married to Mimie, born Jan 1879. They have three children, Collie, female, born Oct 1893, Hershel, Son, born September 1896, and Marvin, born Aug 1899.
My family genealogy has a William Arthur Phillips born in 1872 who was married to Donzella McDonald of Tennessee. They had two children, Sarah Will Phillips, born 1916 in Tennessee and Francis Zine, born 1921 in Tennessee.
Obituary of William states he had three children from a previous marriage and family remembers one of those children being named Hershall.
Any information on the Phillips from Gwinnett County Georgia that matches above, would be greatly appreciated.
