Frances Brown married John Blackburn on 11/11/1838 in Habersham Co. GA. They had the following children:
1) William Brown Blackburn, b. 1842
2) Matilda Jane Blackburn, b. 1845
3) James J. Blackburn, b. 1848, m. Frances Murray
4) Avaline Blackburn, b. 1851
5) Anna Blackburn, b. 1853
6) Calvin Blackburn, b. 1858
