Does anyone recognize the name Howell Cobb York: He is shown in the 1900 Census for Habersham County. He was married to Mary Ellen Dean. Both were born in 1858 and had a daughter named Mary Ellen born in 1880, that they called Ella. It appears their daughter was married to a Jessie Goslin and may have had a child in 1899. Mary Ellen was my grandmother and I believe Mr.Goslin was her first husband because in 1906 or 1907 she married my grandfather, John Standridge and they lived in Stephens County, GA. Howell Cobb York then shows up in Stephens County, GA census for 1910 with another wife and children and grandchildren in the householdDoes any of this ring a bell to someone out there? Would like to verify this info and would love any other info.
