Hi there,
one son of theirs was Jeptha Taylor, born about 1798,in Georgia, and he married my great great grandmother Mary Dooley and they had 3 children. She had been married before (my line) and had an older daughter and a son - my great grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Dooley. For the whole rundown on all the Taylor clan of Habersham county, GA. - go to the TAYLOR family forum. There a gentleman has posted all the TAYLORS of Habersham County and their lines, your Jeremiah Taylor was born 1758 in Orange County Virgina. That was wild frontier then, but is the Winchester (town area down towards Front Royal Virginia, if I have my bearings correct. Leah White was born 1760 in North Carolina. Its been about 2 years since I read his posting - it was very lengthy - but very organized. If it isnt on TAYLOR family forum, it will be on one of the 2 counties, Habersham or Stephens County GA., Forum I think. I printed it off, but I do not have access to my records for a few months..ut I know I read it - and it was so wonderful to have it all laid out, all relatives accounted for! You will find it!
