I am the great granddaughter of Dr. William Vance "Will" Chandler of Baldwin, Habersham County, GA and his wife, Tallulah Christine "Tina" Jones Chandler. Will was originally from Greenville County, SC and moved to Habersham County, GA around 1896. Tina was from Hall County, GA. Their children are Mary Christine, William Pinckney and Julia Nelle Chandler all of which lived and died in Baldwin.

I am searching for more information about Dr. Chandler's life while in Habersham County. He was a founder of the town of Baldwin, active in the Christian Church, on the board of Baldwin School, physician for the Baldwin orphanage and a member of the Odd Fellows. Does anyone have information about his and his family's life in Baldwin, GA?

I'd like to share information with all that are interested.
