We are searching for information on the family of ROBERT NELSON THOMAS. He is, possibly, the son of John R. and Elizabeth Willingham Thomas of Hall, Gwinnett, and Carroll County, Georgia. From 1880 Census information, it is speculated that Robert Nelson may have gone to Stone Mountain, DeKalb County, Georgia area at the age of twenty-one where he worked and lived on the farm of the William T. and Abi E. Ray family (whose daughter's family, Robert and Mary V. Ray McCarty, also lived with them). Any further information on this family would be deeply appreciated.

She was born February 24, 1893 in the Lathamville/Sand Mountain area (west of Crossville), DeKalb County, Alabama, and died 1983.
