Hi...have some information, but your last name reminds of another surname in the long list of surnames I am researching besides Grant. Are you by any chance related to a Mellie Bramlett that married a Thomas Grant on 12-01-1897?

My connection to the Grants are further down in the family history....John Grant who married Lavinia Smith in Hall County, April 26, 1858 was my great-grandmother's father.
He was born abt 1810 in SC. After Lavina died, abt 1866, John married her sister, Nancy Smith, Oct 14, 1866 in Hall County, Ga.

My great-grandmother was Sarah Ann Grant White, who was born March 23,1862 in Hall County, Ga. She married my great-grandfather Abraham Greenberry White, Feb 22, 1880 in Hall County, Ga and died December 22, 1947 in Williamson County, Texas. She had other siblings, James Isaac Grant, born April 4, 1859, Hall County, Ga. and died 11-3-1933 in Hill County, Tx.

Meziah Grant born abt 1866, Hall County, Ga, married William A. Clark May 29, 1879 in Hall County, Ga.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Sharon
