The estate papers for James Boswell were filed Feb. 1809 in Hancock Co. GA. Peter Dennis was the administrator of the estate and guardian of William Boswell, James Boswell, Andrew Boswell. Also mentioned were other sons Thomas Boswell and Alex Boswell. Susannah Boswell(wife) was shown as a buyer for several items in the estate sale as well as William Dennis, Peter Dennis, William Boreland. Abraham Boreland also received cash from the estate.
William Boswell mentioned above married Nancy Pruitt in Putman Co. GA and later lived in Talbot Co. GA and Pike Co. AL. William and Nancy's son Thomas Moses Boswell was my GGGF.
Does anyone know about any of the other Boswell's mentioned in this estate?
