Looking of any info on John & Mary Sims Wooten family. John can into Hancock before 1794. He was a Major in the war, but was killed 1 May, 1794 with a rifle butt by a federal soldier. His children are John,b. 1759; Polly, b. 1760-1764; Hardy, b. 1764;Nancy Ann, b. 1770;Matthew, b.1774; Alcey,b.aft. 1774. John, b. 1759 is the person I'm most interested in, as dna test shows this to be my family line. Any info will be most appreciated. My g/g/g/grandfather applied by a letter to be the admin. to John wootan in sept. 6, 1832. Would like to know when John(1759) died. Thanks you-
