Judy,

Thank you for posting the information on the Tabernacle Methodist Church.

My ggg-grandfather, Anderson Martin NORRIS, was a Presbyterian Methodist Minister, ordained in Alabama, ca. 1845, however, I believe he might have been Methodist prior to moving to Alabama. I also think he may have had connections to the NORRIS families of Washington and Hancock Counties in Georgia. There was a William NORRIS and Isaac NORRIS, both brothers, who were also Ministers in HAncock CO. in the early 1800's, however, I'm not sure of their denomination?

My question for you is, are there any NORRIS family members listed in this church's cemetary that you know of?
