I have a problem let me see if I can explain it so bear with me
In the 1850 Harris Co.GA. census I find
Simeon 35/SC(1815)
Margaret 32/SC
Joshua 15/SC
Martha 11/GA
John 10/GA
Thomas 6/GA
Joseph 4/GA
Simeon 5/12 GA(1849)
There seems to be two conflicting sides to who Simeons(35/SC) parent were,was it Daniel
Blackmon and Nancy Hartley or James Nathan Blackmon and Wincy Garris
the Simeon (1815)had a brother James A. Nathan (1822)married Edith Mallory Giddeon had a
son Simeon Isar BLACKMON(1852)my line
posted here because BLACKMONs were also in Haralson Co
