Would like additional information regarding Alonzo O. Turner who was enumerated in Haralson Co. in the 1900 census as a single man, b. May 1878, born in GA as were his parents. Does anyone know who his parents were?
I believe he married Kezzie More/Moore (possibly as his 2nd wife), who was also in Haralson Co. in 1900, as the daughter of John F. Moore, both born in Michigan.
Kezzie was the niece of my great-grandmother, Addie More Powers. Included in family papers was a letter from A.O. Turner of Birmingham, AL, written ca 1934, addressed to Aunt Addie. There was an Alonzo & Kezzie Turner living in Birmingham, AL, in 1930. It makes sense to me that Kezzie married the Alonzo Turner she probably knew in Haralson Co., but I don't have any information to verify it.
Is anyone familiar with Alonzo O. Turner?
