I have found more info on Wiley and Cleitha who were in Harris County Georgia in 1880 in Valley Plains. In 1900 they were in Troup county in Lagrange and there names were William and Cinda. Wiley was put down as mulatto on the 1880 census, so his father must be a white man. The weird thing about it is that Cleitha is put down as black instead of Native American in the 1900 census, but on the 1880 census she was put down as Native American. I also notice to the Dunton's who were Natives too Anderson Dunton who was born in Sounth Carolina he is put down as black too instead of Native American on the 1900 census, but on the 1880 census she was put down as Native American. On Mark Bryant death certificate it had down father is Wiley Bryant and mother is Lucinda Whitehead. So Cleitha from the 1880 census is Lucinda Whitehead. I am just wondering why would a Native American change their first name take a European surname and that they don't have a connection to. Wiley Bryant and Cleitha/ Lucinda ( Whitehead ?) had sixteen children. And Cleitha had one daughter named Maria Whitehead before she was married to Wiley. Wiley and Lucinda/ Cleitha had the following children John born in 1871 Cherry born in 1873 married Henry Watt from Columbus Georgia had three children Effie Watt, Lola Watt and Philip Anderson Watt James went by Jim in 1900, 1910, and 1920 census. He was born in 1874 married Ella Pitts daughter of Elbert Pitts and Francis Gates. Had children Moses, John, Elijah, Beatrice, Vasti, Martha, James, Jim, Elanor, Eddie Lee, Arthur Lee, Jonah, Julia, Mae Lou Cindy, Edna, and Clarence Alice born in 1876 Wiley jr. born in 1878 Lizzie born in 1880 Mollie born in 1881 Gus born in 1882 Tom born in 1886 Married Lou and had Ralph, Julia, and Bessie.
