I am looking for information about the Vickery family that lived in the Georgia area. I know of one of my ancestors that lived in the Georgia area, his name was James A Vickery (1795-1833/1838) who married Mary Sanders (1800-1833). They were married (bef) 1815. Mary is the daughter of Elias Sanders and Mary Carter and James is the son of Aaron Vickery and Amelia Dobson. They had the following children:
1. Elias Vickery (1815-1885)
2. Thomas S. Vcikery (1817-1891)
3. Emilie Ann "Millie" Vickery (1819-1899)
4. William H "Skinner Bill" Vickery (1822-1896)
5. Mary E "Polly" Vickery (1824-1910)
6. Rachel Vickery (1824-?)
7. James A. Vickery (1826-1905) (Jr)
8. Cynthia Vickery (1829-?)
9. Jonathan Hightower Vickery (1831-?) **
10. John Parker Vickery (1833-1922)
** this is one of my ancestors.
