I am a descendant of Sara Elizabeth Brown b.4/23/1831 d. 2/13/1911. She mentions Larkin and Spencer Brown who I thought were her father and uncle. I found reference to her marriage to Thomas W. Bobo, son of ? in the History of Hart County, GA. I am her gg grandaughter through her son Dillard Ira Teat. I am missing a link to her marriage to ? Teat ( we thought it was Oliver but cannot find him anywhere and now belive it was but I know I am their descendant.

According to the census:
Thomas M. Bobo (41) was married to Lucy (34). In the 1870 census Lucy is not mentioned but a housekeeper, Louisa, is there. There is also a 2 year old child.

In 1860 Sara Elizabeth Brown is 6, living in the home of Larkin and Francis Brown. She is still there in 1870 at age 17.

1860 Reed Creek, Hart County, GA census, Henlys Store
Larkin Brown age 33 born abt 1827 SC;
Francis C Brown age 25 born Georgia
James O Brown age 10 born Georgia
Sarah E Brown age 6 born Georgia
Mavial D Brown age 2 born Georgia

indicates Larkin and Francis are the parents of James O, Sarah E and Mavial.

1870 Hart Co, GA census
Dooley's Dist, Reed Creek
Larken Brown age 48 farmer b. SC
Frances Brown age 38
James 19
Sarah E 17
Doomers 13

Did Sara Elizabeth marry Thomas Bobo as a widower? Can anyone tie her into the Teats? She was living with John and Caroline Teat in 1880 as a Daughter in Law in Hart County with her children.
I would appreciate any help offered to solve this riddle.
