Hart Co. Marriage records show A. A. Teat married on 25 Sep 1870 to Sarah E. Brown. Also, Thomas W. Bobo married on
12 Dec 1872 to Sarah Brown. If the 1872 marriage was for the same Sarah, then it should have been in the name of
Sarah E. Teat. Sarah's marriage to A. A. Teat in 1870 was
the earliest Teat marriage in Hart Co. There were some Teats
in adjoining Franklin Co. around the same time but none in
