seeking the family of Lydia Kirkland Pelham Thurston, wife of James Thurston, and son George Thurston, formerly of Barnwell County,S. C., who were living in Henry County, Georgia by 1830. Lydia was the Widow of Ambrose Pelham, Sr and the mother of Eliza Pelham, who married John Jordan of Barnwell County, S. C. in 1814. John and Eliza Pelham Jordan were living in the area of present day Macon, Georgia in 1816 and in Baker County, Ga. by 1822.
