I do not have James or Lydia being in the state of GA. I have just recently discovered that they both had previous marriages. If they married each other in 1814, the George Thurston in my family tree would have been by a previous wife, maybe an Elizabeth McMillian. George was born in 1811.I have recently discovered that they may have had two children, Joel G. Thurston and a Mary Thurston. The first Thurston I have living in Georgia in my tree is George Thurston b.16 Sep 1811, SC d 3 Nov 1895 Jackson, Butts Co. GA. So, at this point I believe she was his second wife. The records I have found are very confusing in regard to the birth of her children.
