I have an interest in Benjamin King.He was born abt 1768.
He may be the Benjamin King on the 1820 Jasper county census as well.
I found an old forum queiry where someone stated he was the son of a John King of Northampton,NC. There is a will for John King dated 1786 Northampton,NC wife Sarah------?
Children Henry,Benjamin,John and Sarah.
They state that Benjamin moved to Jasper,Henry,Fayette cos,Ga and had children Thomas W,Henry S,Tandy Dix and Benahah.
I dont know the sourse of this information.It was a 1997 Queiry and I have failed to contact the writer.
I believe the Thomas W King b abt 1787 was the father of my ancestor(almost certain)but havent proven it yet.
Im interested in what ever you may find.....
