I'm working on Dennis G. Busby b. 1805 in South Carolina. In the 1860 census of Wilkinson County GA he shows his youngest son, Bazemore or Bozeman M. Busby living in his home. He is also living with his second wife. I know that Dennis purchased land in Houston County in 1838, however I cannot find evidence of his having lived there, or what he did with the property after he left Houston County. While going through the Houston County Census for 1840, however, I ran across Reddick. It makes sense to me that Dennis could have married one of Reddick's daughters/grand daughters and that's where his youngest child came up with the moniker Bazemore. Dennis' other children were Margaret A.E.I and Georgia Ann. It's possible that he had another son named Martin showing up in the Bibb County Census of 1850 but that entry is only the initials D.G. Busby and the ages of the children are off. Anyone have any information on this one?
