I am researching my ancestor Thomas Jefferson Gardner, born 1815 in Georgia. He married [no date] [unknown] and owned land (possibly in Houston Co.-Lee Co.)in Georgia and three of his 7 children were born in Georgia.
I found them in the Butler Co. Alabama 1860 Census as:
T J Gardner, Male, 45 GA, Preacher-real estate $800 GA
D E Gardner, Female,23 GA
L H Gardner, Female, 20 GA
N L Gardner, Female, 19 GA
H M Gardner, Female, 14 AL
L M Gardner, Female, 12 AL
R W Gardner, Male, 8 AL
M L Gardner, Male, 1 AL
Would like to have more on this family and any birth, land records etc. from Georgia and any Census records in Georgia prior to their move to Alabama. Not found in the 1850 Alabama Census records.
