William & Susan Avery were married just prior to 1840 and then had 8 children; the first 3 sons being born in GA during the early 1840's; (Asa, John Frank & Louis Melton) before moving on to Gadsden Co, FL. I'm trying to locate any kind of a marriage record or family biography to show they came from Houston County. Susan may have been a Sanders/Saunders and her mother's first name Rebecca. 1840 census records to show that were William Avery families residing here at that time as well as Sanders families, but you can't much info from the census.
