Judy I hope you find this because I've been looking for you. I, too, am looking for information on the WOOD/RAY family. This is what I have so far. Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie S." RAY b. 1862 Gordon Co., GA? d. 1935 Jackson Co., GA. She married Simeon M. "Sim" WOOD b. 1852 Jackson Co., GA d. 1910 Jackson Co., GA. They were both buried in the Old Erastus Cemetery N. of Neese, Madison County, GA. I believe Lizzie's parents were Joseph Henry Ray b. @ 1840 and Margaret Ellen Harris b. @ 1844; I think both from Gordon County, GA. Lizzie and Sim were m. 22 Jan 1884 in Gordon County, GA. After living there for about 4 years they moved to Jackson County, GA. Have you found anything more then what I have?
