Hi Melanie
I checked my records and George Ray and his son Solomon ray witnessed a land transaction by Owen Bowen. I have seen references to some of the other people you mentioned. I have wondered who Thomas Wray or Ray was. This is very interesting. It would seem that the church you mention would now be in Oconee co Ga or maybe Clarke co Ga. I am not that familiar with that area. I bet if I could find the minutes of the church in the early 1800's if they still exist they might mention George Ray or Wray. Thanks,Ross
