You know there is a Laughter book "The Laughter Family Genealogy" by Douglas Laughter. I can't remember who I ordered it from. I work in Desoto Co. and will check with a friend to see if he can tell me where William Hukey might be buried. I will also check and see if maybe he had a will that may tell us a little more. Seems like there was something else about them in a book about the Gray's Creek Church members. There is a US Federal Census Mortality Schedule on him. I show an ID # MRT197_38823 for it. I also have a list of probably most of his children. I am from his daughter Mary Jane Brown Laughter's line. He must have been well loved for so many of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to carry his name. My grandfathers brother's middle name was Huke. I'll see if I can get more info and let you know.
