Does anyone have knowledge of Ezekiel CRABTREE, who was residing in District 46, Jasper Co, GA, on 11 Oct 1850 (US Census; family #165)?
His household information:
Ezekiel CRABTREE 68 yrs b. SC
Martha " 55 yrs b. VA
Thomas " 23 yrs b. SC
Martha " 21 yrs b. GA
Mary " 22 yrs b. SC
Malichiah " 18 yrs b. SC
Nancy " 17 yrs b. SC
James " 13 yrs b. SC
Naome " 8 yrs b. GA
Mansfield " 16 yrs b. GA
Was this a blended family? Or is Martha the mother of all these children? Did Ezekiel have children older than Thomas (perhaps already married - and moved on?)
There is an Ezekiel Crabtree in Edgefield District, SC in 1830 and 1840 - possibly the same person - I haven't found another Ezekiel Crabtree in this time period, in this general area.
Note: I also HAVE NOT FOUND Ezekiel Crabtree after 1850.
If anyone is tracking/researching anyone in this group, I would appreciate your insights. Thanks.
