Hello...just joined the genealogy.com forum.

I'm a direct descendant of Middleton W. Cox, b. 1820, m. Louisa Bussey Oden in 1839, d. 1849 in Jasper Co., Georgia. They had three children: Jessie A, b. about 1842, Mary C., b. about 1848, and Thomas Wiley Cox, b. 1845. Thomas later married Emma (Emily) Jordon Overall in 1870.

Any information on the ancestry of Middleton W. Cox, or about him, would be greatly appreciated.
