My great great great grandfather was John Davidson of Jasper County. He was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, by the Schuylkill River. As a boy he moved to Union District, South Carolina. He fought in many battles in the American Revolution. He was injured to his hand and head. After the Rev. he moved to Georgia -- living in Greene, Morgan and Jasper Counties. He died January 15, 1853 in Jasper County. He lived to be over 90.
John Davidson had several children. I would be happy to share information about his descendants.
I am desperatly trying to find out the name of his wife. I have been told they married September 1, 1701 and I think they married in Georgia.
