Luke Williams was borm 1779 in Virginia. He moved to Wilkes Co., GA where he married Anna Hartsfield about 1803. They remained in Wilkes Co., GA until about 1819, and he appears on the 1820 census of Jasper Co. He continues to appear on Jasper Co., census records until 1860. His wife Anna appears on the 1850 census of Jasper Co.

Children of Luke and Anna:
1. William Sims Williams (1804 - 1871) m. Thruza Williams, dau. of Nathan Williams.
2. Isaac Williams (1806 - after 1880 AL) m. Elizabeth (Martin?)
3. Sarah Ann (1807-1848) m. Benjamin F. Persons
4. James M. Williams (1808-1888) m. Nancy Williams, dau. of Zachariah Williams.
5. Thomas B. Williams (1810-1860) m. Frances Ann McDowell
6. Luke b. 1811 ?
7. Carrie b. 1814 ?

Have you located any estate records, deeds, etc. to document that any of these children are the children of Luke and Anna? William, Sarah, James and Thomas all lived near Luke & Anna in Jasper Co., GA. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Phyllis
