Looking for information pertaining to a James A Wallis/Wallace and Sophia Hardy, his wife. They were married on 9/16/1819 in Lincoln Co GA.
They had a son, James Hardy Wallace, and two daughters that I know of named Sarah and Caroline. They moved down into Nacogdoches TX. In the 1850 census, Sophia is found alone with her two daughters, living next door to James and his first wife Elizabeth. Don't know what happened to James A...?
