Early Baptist churches, c. 1800-10

What resources are available to search for church records, as noted in the subject line? Both on the internet and printed documents. Do Baptist organizations themselves make such records available? I am particularly interested in reviewing member lists, baby baptisms/dedications, letters of dismissal, and Sunday School attendees.

My interest is on the Pate family, particularly Charles Pate who arrives in Georgia c. 1800 from the Carolinas and moves to Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, by 1820.

There were three Pate families attending the Goshen Baptist Church c. 1800 in Lincoln County, Georgia --- Charles and his wife Milly, James and his wife Mary, and William with his daughter Rebecca.

Also attending Goshen with the Pate's were Newell Walton, Sr. and Jr., and their families. My greatgreat-grandfather, Newell Walton Pate, born c. 1811 (perhaps in Morgan County), was apparently named after one of the two Walton's.

Since Charles was apparently active in Baptist churches everywhere he went, I am trying to locate which church he went to in Lincoln County, after his letter of dismissal from Goshen Baptist Church in November 1802. Attending there perhaps from 1803 to 1809.

Will appreciate any information on researching Baptist church records for Lincoln County.
