Good luck to you! Here are the facts, as I know them:
Hiram Brown, b. 1799 in GA, d. 12 Nov 1871, m.
Rebecca ____, born 1799-1800, d. 22 June 1888. She is listed in the 1880 Census as age 70 with William age 32 (both ages are 10 years too young). Rebecca was born in GA, father born PA, mother born SC. I have searched 1850 and 1860 Heard Co. for old men born in PA and women born in SC, but they may never have been as far west as Heard County. First known child is Thomas b. 1828, but it is likely there were earlier children (perhaps a Samuel Brown b. 1823) and unknown daughers. The Browns are buried with their son, William, in the family plot near Oneil's Crossroads in western Heard Co., north of Glenn.
Somehow Ezekiel Brown must be connected. He died before 1850 leaving widow Charlotte. I will email yo my file.
