Looking for Marriage Records for Milton County, Georgia. I have Alexander Melvin Brown to Susan Armilda Ervin dated 25 Nov 1866. I under stand Alexander served in Company C Phillips Legion Calvary. He attended George Eclectric College in Atlanta and is shown on the 1870 Milton C. Ga and 1880 Talking Rock, Pickens C. Ga and 1900 and 1910 Cherokee C. Alabama census. Susan was born in Georgia and don't know her parents and Alexander was b. April 1846 Cherokee C. Ga. His parents were William Samuel (Wilds) Brown and Elizabeth Pharr
