I have been chasing my 4G grandfather John Hunt's origin for the past 5 years with no success. He was the father of Eli Milton Hunt. Eli was born on his father's farm believed to be in what is now Coweta County in or about 1810. Is it possible that John Hunt was married in Milton County, Georgia possibly around 1785 and named his first son after that county? Advise, help, and speculation welcomed.
