I'm searching for members of the Brown family orginally from Georgia.
Dora Brown had been a slave. She was sold on the auction in Louisville, Georgia.
She eventually married a Rawlings of Washington County. She had five (5) children, Rena Brown, Wilson Brown (my paternal grandfather, born December 1974, later Wilson R. Rawlings), Jesse Brown, Mary Brown and Tempie Brown.
She lived in Sandersville, Georgia, for a long time. She is last seen in the 1930 Federal Census.
