I am interested in a White Co. History book also. How much are they? Are they still available? I descend from John J. Higgins and Newton Higgins. Newton enlisted in the 24th Regiment, White Co. Sharpshooper, and he was killed at the Battle of Chanceslorville 3 May 1863. Other surnames are Brock, Ferguson, Cox, Hulsey, Duckett.
