5th Annual Loggins Reunion in Georgia
Who: The descendants of Samuel Loggins of Halifax Co., VA (B: abt 1775), and Loggins families of Hall Co., GA. This includes descendants of the following couples:
James Loggins and Dicie East, Samuel and E. Loggins, Jesse Loggins and Rutha Fricks, William P. Loggins and Nancy Sears, Eli Kinsey Loggins and Mary Jane Smallwood, James Madison Loggins and Matilda Smallwood, Martha Palmetto Loggins and James W. Jones
All related families, including Smallwood, Sears, Jones, and any others who may have a connection to the Loggins line, are welcome to attend.
Place: Clermont Community Center, Hulsey Rd. off U.S. 129 North, NE Hall County, Clermont, GA
When: Saturday, September 23, 2006
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
What Is Provided: Ice, plates, cups, spoons, forks.
What To Bring: Covered Dish, chair to sit in, family photos, Loggins historical items to share.
Directions: U.S. Hwy 129 North out of Gainesville, GA in Hall County. Go north on U.S. 129 to Clermont, GA (a very small town). Look for Hulsey Road on the left (next to a storefront). Turn left onto Hulsey Rd. and immediately turn into the Community Center parking lot. The Community Center faces U.S. 129 and has a log cabin in its yard. If you go past it, you will reach a two-way stop at a 4-way intersection at GA 284 (Clarks Bridge Rd.) and will see a Welcome to Clermont sign and a gas station on the left.
