Looking for any info on a David Barrett found in the White County GA tax digest in 1869, District 802, Shoal Creek. The 1870 White County GA tax digest has a D. L. Barot in District 862 with 160 acres and 1 child between age 6-18.
The only other reference so far I've found for any David Barrett in this area, and not necessarily the same man, is in the 1850 census in Lumpkin Co. GA: David Barrett age 13, son of William Barrett age 46 and Mary 38, other sibs John 18, Elizabeth 14, Margaret 8, Henry 5 and Pane 3.
